Summary of Position
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this position will have direct responsibility for aiding in the setup process. TOMZ manufactures parts via high precision metal machining, finishing, assembly, and anodize processes for Medical Devices. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain the ISO 13485 standards documentation.
Essential Functions
- Retrieving job paperwork, cutting tools, fixtures, and assembling the tools into tool holders for CNC machines.
- Prepare everything the setup machinist should need in order to perform setup.
- Load and unload materials and equipment.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance.
- Keep a log of all tools and equipment used and organize accordingly.
Qualifications:
Education
- Desire to learn and grow in the manufacturing industry as an entry level position.
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with manufacturing
$16 – $22 an hour
