Sr. Quality Engineer – Sustained Manufacturing - Berlin, CT

This position will be responsible for the activities associated with Quality Sustained Manufacturing of commercial product and successful transfer of Development programs to standard production, through leadership, coaching and technical guidance of cross-functional Engineering teams.  This role will be expected to provide input on, and contribute to, development and implementation of Quality System improvement strategies and approaches.

Quality Systems Engineer - Berlin, CT

The position will be responsible for ensuring operational adherence and compliance to TOMZ’s Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.  This role will be expected to provide input on, and contribute to, development and implementation of Quality System improvement strategies and approaches.

Industrial Engineer - Berlin, CT

Reporting to the head of engineering, this position seeks to minimize waste and variation through Lean and Six Sigma approaches leading to improved production processes and systems. The Industrial Engineer (IE) is responsible for identifying and leading execution of a wide range of Continuous Improvement projects. The IE leads, facilitates, executes, and manages team training initiatives and projects. The IE will utilize knowledge of COGs, gross margin, facility design, material handling equipment, labor management, staff planning and project management to identify, quantify, prioritize and recommend improvement projects that align with organizational goals and objectives.

Sr. Process and Development Engineer - Berlin, CT

Reporting to the Department Manager, this position is primarily responsible for working in a functional project engineering group, consisting of multiple engineering disciplines. Involved in development, documentation and validation of new customer products, and the modification of existing production products; including timelines and deliverables with a focus on process development, training production personnel and preparation for process validation and manufacturing transfer of products.

Technician II-Tsugami Lathes Operations - Berlin, CT

Reporting to Department Manager, this position will have direct responsibility for the manufacturing of components within a machining Department. TOMZ manufactures parts via high precision metal machining, finishing, assembly, and anodize processes for Medical Devices. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain the ISO 13485 standards documentation, perform basic setup and operate equipment, and perform visual and dimensional inspections on machined components.

Technician II – Willemin Mill Turns Operations - Berlin, CT

Reporting to Department Manager, this position will have direct responsibility for the manufacturing of components within a machining Department. TOMZ manufactures parts via high precision metal machining, finishing, assembly, and anodize processes for Medical Devices. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain the ISO 13485 standards documentation, perform basic setup and operate equipment, and perform visual and dimensional inspections on machined components.

Quality Systems Specialist - Corporate

The position will be responsible for ensuring global operational adherence and compliance to TOMZ’s Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. Reporting to Department Manager, this position will have direct responsibility for the manufacturing of components through various basic functions within the Department. TOMZ manufactures parts via high precision metal machining, finishing, assembly, and anodize processes for Medical Devices. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain the ISO 13485 standards documentation, operate equipment, and perform visual and dimensional inspections on machined components.

Technician III – Tsugami Lathes - Berlin, CT

Reporting to Department Manager, this position will have direct responsibility for the setup and manufacture of components within a machining Department. TOMZ manufactures parts via high precision metal machining, finishing, assembly, and anodize processes for Medical Devices. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain the ISO 13485 standards documentation, setup and operate equipment, and perform visual and dimensional inspections on machined components.

Principal Manufacturing Engineer - Knightstown, IN

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this position will have direct responsibility for key production-related deliverables including, but not limited to Manufacturing plan; Capacity planning; COGS estimation; Process validations; Capital equipment specifications and procurement; Production line set-up, as well as coordinate the launch of new products into production. TOMZ manufactures parts via high precision metal machining, finishing, assembly, and anodize processes for Medical Devices.

This position will be responsible for the activities associated with generation of inspection programs for commercial product and development programs. This role will be expected to establish programs, provide input on, and contribute to, fixturing and inspection method strategies and approaches.
